June member of the month and Golden kettlebell winner is Alex! Kicking ass and taking names! Comes to work everyday an although he hasn’t been here that long he has made a huge transformation!
“I was super honored and humbled to get the golden kettlebell yesterday at CrossFit Science Park. Crossfit has changed my life. With the help of Coach Dan I was able to work through a lot of things as well as get in shape. I’ve never taken fitness seriously in the past until I walked through that door. Crossfit has helped me gain self worth, make friends, opened me up to a great community, and taught me so much about personal fitness and health. I really encourage everyone to try something like this.”
1. How Long have you been CrossFitting?Crossfitting for about 7 months now.2. How long have you been a member of CFSP?Been a member of CFSP that whole 7 months. That’s where I got me start with Crossfit.
I was looking for a shift in my life and better way to exercise and get into shape. I had only heard of Crossfit very vaguely through media or friends. I was walking along one day and said to myself “I should try that”
My motivation is mostly focused around self care and driving myself to get into shape and actually change my life for the better.
5. What does your diet look like?My diet is pretty clean. I usually eat oatmeal for breakfast, a salad for lunch and a big dinner with a protein, rice, and veggies. But I also cheat a couple times a week. I love chicken BLTs.
6. What is your favorite movement or work out?Favorite moment is when I finally breakthrough on a movement. Like kicking up the wall for a HSPU for the first time or nailing my first double under. Those moments are usually filled with a lot of accomplishment and happiness.7. What is your least favorite movement or work out?Least favorite: WALL BALLS
